The last thing you want to do is let your dream vacation be disrupted by digestive issues. However, given that travel frequently can involve a change of time zones, lack of sleep, eating out a lot, air travel, and other stressors, we are likely to experience irregularity or uncomfortable digestive issues. That’s why I always pack @florahealthy Travel Care Probiotic with me on my travels. Flora’s Travel Care Probiotic is a clinically proven single strain probiotic that’s been shown to help reduce incidence of traveler’s diarrhea and combat pathogenic "bad" bacteria. Procida - a hidden gem in southern Italy!
.
.
Millions of passengers pass through Naples airport every year and many head straight to popular spots like Pompeii, Capri and Positano. Only a few board a ferry to the lesser known island - Procida. With its pastel-colored harbor, quaint narrow cobblestone streets, authentic Italian patisseries, and secluded coves Procida is heartbreakingly beautiful, pristine, and remains relatively untouched. Procida is definitely off the main stream tourist travel radar; most of those who travel to Procida are Neapolitans who visit during the summer months to enjoy their vacation time away from the tourists who “invade” their city and the Amalfi Coast during this time. Procida seems to want to keep its secret to itself! .

Happy National Iced Tea Day everyone! If you’ve got a lot of mints in your garden, like I do, you’ll love this recipe for citrus mint iced tea! It’s cool, refreshing, and tastes delicious. So very simple to make: fresh mint sprigs (the more sprigs, the stronger the taste) + @pureleaf herbal tea + lime juice + lime slices + ice (optional). Enjoy! #nationalicedteaday #IcedTeaUpgrade #bloomingwithflavor #houseofhibiscus #ad

Doing laundry 🧺 like an Italian.
.
.
.
Some of my favorite scenes in Italian small towns and villages are those where the laundry is hanging on drying racks and clothes lines on balconies, outside windows, across alleys,...Due to energy issues electric dryers are rare in Italy so hanging the laundry outside is very common! This is a way of life for most people in Italy and it really depicts the culture and lifestyle of Italians. I find hanging laundry romantic, artistic and nostalgic perhaps because it reminds me of my mother who washed everything by hand and of a simpler time. I guess the beauty does really lie in the simple things! .

Italy Milan

Milan: Shopping Weekend

Milan is the fifth-largest city in the European Union. Milan has something for everyone: world-class shopping and a thriving cultural scene. It’s set apart by its glamour and passions.

Begin your Milan exploration at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the oldest covered shopping arcade in town. It’s home to fashion giants such as Prada and Gucci.

Indonesia Ubud,Bali

Ubud, our Eat-Pray-Love Journey!

Ubud is considered in many ways Bali’s cultural heart. Located in the cool mountains, just one hour’s drive north of the airport and the resorts of southern Bali, this traditional country town is home of one of Bali’s royal families.

I got a lot of questions about where I stayed in Ubud and here’s the answer: Dara Ayu Villas and Spa. Dara Ayu is only 10 minutes away from the famous Hanging Gardens.

Italy Tuscany

Under the Tuscan Sun!

I had visions of “Under the Tuscan Sun” in my head as I planned our getaway in Tuscan. Florence-the capital of Tuscan and the birthplace of the Renaissance is gorgeous but we are much more in love with the Tuscan countryside. The countryside is quite literally covered with vineyards and olive groves that give the rolling hills a deep green color with hints of golden as the sun glints off of the leaves. Just like in a movie!
