Airbnb Review: Venice Canals Sanctuary

Venice Beach is an all-time Californian favorite. From its world-famous boardwalk to Abbot Kinney Blvd., you’ll find an artsy, vibrant mix of things to do on your adventure in Southern California. Are you planning a trip to Venice Beach but unsure where to stay? Venice Beach has an assortment of incredible choices of Airbnbs to pick from, and in this blog is the review of one of my favorite Airbnbs in this area.

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect spot to kick back and unwind, this charming bungalow in the heart of the best neighborhood in Venice Beach will not disappoint. This stylish Airbnb is the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern simplicity, complete with an inviting living space great for your holiday vacation.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with ample outdoor space for kids and furry friends is situated next to the famous Venice Canals, just a few blocks to the beach, and 10 minute walk to famed Abbot Kinney. It is walking distance to everything in Venice Beach and Marina del Ray, including; eclectic fashion boutiques, bakeries, cafe lounges, grocery stores, world class restaurants, public transit, night life, close freeway access and only 5 miles north of LAX.

Venice Canal Historic District

The Venice Canal Historic District is noteworthy for its man-made canals built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of his Venice of America plan. During our stay we really enjoyed our daily walks with our fur babies along the canals.

The interior of the house has a relaxing flowy design, with colorful bright decors, large windows, and dotted with skylights that add such a beachy vibe to this vintage inspired bungalow.

This Venice Beach rental house comes with three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests, a large kitchen with all the essentials and modern cooking wares, a beautiful dining area, and spacious bathrooms.

We really loved the loft at the back of the house. It’s super spacious, filled with natural light, newly renovated with a full bathroom, a mini fridge, and two large glass sliding doors opening up right to the backyard and patio.

The two bedrooms in the main house are very spacious with big closets. The bigger bedroom has doors opening up to the backyard, very convenient for fur parents.

All of the rooms in this artisan-style bungalow boast plenty of natural light sweeping through every corner. The ocean breeze and bright sunlight from the large windows make us feel like we are residing with the sea.

The bungalow comes equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher for easy cleanup.

We really enjoyed relaxing in the lush garden patio and watching our dogs run around.

And when it’s nighttime, we gathered around the fully equipped gourmet kitchen to cook dinner together before sinking in the sofa to watch our favorite movies. It’s the perfect space for a family, couples, or a group of friends looking for a treat to Venice Beach.

We have stayed at Oded’s properties for years (he manages many stylish and unique Airbnbs in Joshua Tree) and Oded’s properties are always excellent and never disappoint. And just like his other Airbnbs, this bungalow basked in total peace and tranquility of a quaint historic neighborhood has everything we needed for a great getaway and our family felt more than at home here. We will definitely book and stay here again.
